Welcome back to Clevver TV, I'm Dana Ward and we're talking about the next step in Taylor Lautner's life. You gotta realize that it's kind of a big deal. When an actor comes across a major breakout role - like Jacob in the Twilight series - there comes a time when that celeb moves on, and either sinks or swims.
Well, it's looking like we already know the next project where Taylor is gonna get his chance to keep his star status. It's being rumored that Lautner earned the lead role in the upcoming action movie, "Max Steel". This is a film based on the popular Mattel action figure line as well as the animated series - awhile ago - so it's a pretty clear-cut role. Paramount Pictures definitely wants the beefed-up version of Taylor because his character, Max Steel, is a 19-year-old extreme sports athlete who gains superpowers after an accident, leading to recruitment by a top secret government agency.
